After completing my HBO-V and training as an anaesthetic nurse, I worked for a number of years as an anaesthetic nurse at the UMCG and the VUMC. At the VUMC, research caught my attention and I completed the post HBO edcuation for research nurse. I have worked for some time in the research at the operational rooms.

After completing the research training, I started as a research nurse at Penthecelia, where I worked in various hospitals. Afterwards, she spent a number of years in the cardiology department as a research nurse at the OLVG.

She has been working as a research nurse at the UMCG in cardio research for over 20 years. Her work focuses primarily on the pre-screening process and supporting (research) physicians in including patients. In addition, she works on an on-call basis from cardio research as a monitor, after completing the monitor course.
