Anja Branderhorst has been working at the UMCG for more than 30 years. In 1992, she completed her studies in Human Movement Sciences and started working at the Department of Traumatology with a focus on epidemiological research. In 1994, she moved to the Cardiology Department and from that moment on, she enjoyed working as a project coordinator at Cardio Research. She is working on several projects, ranging from single-center studies to international multicenter trials initiated by pharmaceutical companies. The projects are mainly in the field of heart failure and rhythm disorders.
