Greetje de Jong has been working at the UMCG for more than 25 years. She worked for almost 15 years as a nurse in the Intensive Care department in several hospitals and at the Coronary Care Unit. She then moved to the Cardiology Research Department and from that moment on, she has enjoyed working as a project coordinator at Cardio Research. She is working on several projects, varying from single-center studies to international multicenter trials from Phase 1, 2, to Phase 3, initiated by pharmaceutical companies. The projects are mainly in the field of heart failure and ischemic disorders.
